Very important the proper cg. Practice slow flying at high altitude to know the flying characteristics of the jets then practice approach not intended to land. One gear down pass another flap down pass and then intend to land. Where is located this field. Very beautiful looks a tropical country. I’m from Puerto Rico.

Probably one of the WORST examples of poor flying at a single location. The lack of skills is evident.

That would have been a perfect snap roll landing if the Loo didn't get in the way.

The pilot was still messing with the throttle, instead of leaving it alone. He should have had the throttle and flaps set, plus ready for elevator . Sorry, but really, he wasn't ready to fly.

A colleague has the same Pilot RC F-16 but with the ventral fins I think it’s more difficult to land her high Alpha on grass because they grab into the grass and the front gear gets too much load. Yesterday the front collapsed :/

Did you looked at the age of the people recovering the plane. Probably well filled pockets ($) but still sad to watch them hiking trough the bushes :S It could well be that the pilot has not years and years of practice for his age. But maybe he had a technical problem too. The first attempt or try wasn´t stable and at that speed probably he would have destroyed his landing gear too. But the second was so fast that I could imagine a problem with one of his turbines. Just guessing since I´m just a EDF flyer beginner and I have seen just one dead stick turbine 50 pounds-model- landing or more accurate: crashing lightly.
